The 'Degrassi' Reunion Trailer Is Here, But Where's Drake?

It's impossible, the thought of a Degrassi: The Next Generation reunion without Jimmy Brooks—played by a pre-Drake Aubrey Graham—happening and not feeling incomplete. It feels wrong. It feels unnatural. And it feels weird, especially considering how everyone, from the first episode of the rebooted after-school special up to the present cast, seems to be making making an appearance. Drake: We get that you're busy, but you've got some explaining to do.

In a brief trailer posted to the Degrassi Facebook page, a number of Degrassi favorites—Lauren Collins (who played Paige Michalchuk), Shane Kippel (Spinner), Adamo Ruggiero (Marco), Sarah Barrable-Tishauer (Liberty Van Sant) and more—look straight into the camera and say simple words: "I'm back." The occasion is Degrassi's upcoming 500th episode. The show, now Degrassi: Next Class, was taken off the air last year only to be brought back, with the added caveat of all of the vintage episodes, as well as this upcoming reunion, rolling over to Netflix.
