Donald Glover's forthcoming TV series, Atlanta, will premiere on FX September 6 at 10:00 p.m., the network announced Tuesday. Glover, who is also known as the rapper Childish Gambino, has previously appeared on NBC's Community and in movies such as The Martian.

FX has already released a series of teasers for the show, the most recent of which was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday, and you can watch it above.

Not a huge amount is known about the forthcoming project, which sees Glover flex his bonafides by writing the pilot, in addition to executive producing and starring on the show. FX describes the comedy series as centering "around two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene whose opposing views on art versus commerce, success and race will make their quest anything but easy."

In other non-Childish Gambino news, Glover has been linked with a jump into the Marvel Cinematic Universe by way of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is slated to release in July of next year. Glover isn't expected to star as Spidy, so make sure to give him your unbridled attention when Atlanta premieres.
