2016 Emmy Nominees List: 'Game of Thrones,' Beyoncé, 'The People v. O.J. Simpson' & More

The 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards announced their nominees live on YouTube at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls, Parenthood) and Anthony Anderson (Black-ish) headed up the announcements. Anderson adorably flipped out when he was announced as a nominee for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, as he did for Tracee Ellis Ross' nom for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and Black-ish's nod for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Leading the nominees are Game of Thrones with 23 nominations, The People v. O.J. Simpson with 22, Fargo with 18 and Veep with 17. Beyoncé's HBO-premiered visual album Lemonade scored four nominations, for Variety Special, Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming and Production Design for a Variety, Nonfiction, Event or Award Special.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the show on ABC on Sept. 18. Below, read the list of key 2016 Emmy nominees; find the official (78-page PDF!) complete list at Emmys.com.
