Lady Gaga sang the national anthem at Super Bowl 50, and now she's lending her voice to another American institution: The Democratic National Convention.

CNN reports that Gaga, who's a noted Hillary Clinton supporter, is set to headline a concert at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, next Thursday alongside Lenny Kravitz and DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Although the Gaga, Kravitz and Jazzy Jeff show won't be taking place exactly outside the DNC in Philadelphia, CNN notes the bacchanal in Camden is only mere minutes away across the Delaware River. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg and Los Angeles rock veterans Los Lobos are set to headline the DNC’s Unity Party for donors at Philadelphia's Electric Factory on the same day.

The Republican National Convention, currently unfolding in Cleveland, hasn't seen much in the way of music star power: The RNC has managed to obscure an old David Bowie song and use Queen's "We Are The Champions" without permission, according to Stereogum

Next up, listen to this episode of our Pop Chat podcast, in which we discuss Gaga's comeback to the spotlight:
