It's a wonderful day for '90s kids, as Nickelodeon has finally revealed the first look at the upcoming Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie. The network showed the new images during their “Happy Happy! Joy Joy!: 25 Years of Nickelodeon Original Animation" panel at San Diego's Comic-Con. The photos feature all of our beloved characters: Arnold, Gerald, Helga, Grandpa, Abner the pig and Phoebe.
The sketches don't stray too much from the cast's original outfits, but are given a modern and cleaner look. It was previously announced that 19 original voices from the television series will reprise their roles. But Arnold and Gerald will get new voice actors: Mason Vale Cotton and Benjamin “Lil’ P-Nut” Flores Jr.
The fact that so many employees currently at Nick are 90s Nickelodeon kids was crucial in bringing Arnold back for the Jungle Movie -Craig— Nick Animation (@NickAnimation) July 21, 2016
Craig Bartlett's Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie follows 2002's Hey Arnold!: The Movie. The two-hour film, which picks up where the series ended in 2004, will premiere sometime in 2017:
