Nintendo/Pokemon

Pokémon trainers, cool your engines.

Nintendo announced their Pokémon Go Plus device, which allows Pokémon Go users to play the game without being totally glued to a smartphone, will be delayed until September after originally being slated for the end of this month. The bracelet-looking item alerts users to valuable, item-delivering Pokéstops and allows them to catch the adorable beasts via Bluetooth.

There was no reason given for the delay.

It's another blow to Nintendo, who recently saw its shares falling after it was revealed that the iconic gaming company didn't actually develop Pokémon Go, but instead is just an investor in the company Niantic, which developed and distributed the hugely successful game.
