Snoop Dogg is lending his services to the Democratic National Convention later this month in Philadelphia. The iconic rapper is slated to headline a "unity party" for Democratic donors, the Senate Majority PAC announced Tuesday.

Snoop will perform alongside East Los Angeles rock veterans Los Lobos, who will open the gig at The Electric Factory on July 28, according to Billboard

Snoop first announced his allegiance to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2015. He said on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live:

"I’ll say that I would love to see a woman in office because I feel like we’re at that stage in life to where we need a perspective other than the male’s train of thought...and just to have a woman speaking from a global perspective as far as representing America, I’d love to see that. So I’ll be voting for Ms. Clinton."

Last week, Snoop released the single "Legend" from his forthcoming Coolaid album. While you can listen to the track here, it's probably the last thing he'll play in front of Democratic Party donors.

Next up, watch Snoop wax lyrical about Hip-Hop, which he says is the "biggest thing in the world."
