Aerosmith's Steven Tyler will be flexing his acting muscle once again this fall, with the upcoming horror film Happy Birthday. Directed by Casey Tebo (who was discovered by Tyler over a decade ago), the movie follows two guys taking a "real trip" to Mexico, which goes very wrong.

The musician plays a wild cowboy-looking character named Kasape Suka, who joins the main characters on an adventure that is filled with sex, drugs, partying and lots of alcohol. The film then takes a turn when the Mexican drug cartel gets involved. Wait...are we sure this isn't an adaptation about Steven Tyler's actual life?

Happy Birthday arrives in theaters Sept. 9. Along with promoting the film, Tyler is prepping the release of his debut solo country album We're All Somebody from Somewhere (out tomorrow).
