There have been speculations that the upcoming season of FX's American Horror Story will finally explain how all six seasons are related, and the anthology series' latest trailer provides us with some answers.

The teaser may only run for 30 seconds, but that's enough time for it to drop major clues on the connections. It excites and runs chills down your spine simultaneously while taking a trip down memory lane featuring: Murder House's rubber man, the bleeding white nun from season two's Asylum, the kissing snakes from season three's Coven, the terrifying circus tent underbelly of season four's Freak Show and a Cortez key from season five's Hotel.

It then leads to the horrific images we've seen from previous trailers for season six, including that freaky train track monster and the ghost grabbing a lady's braid on a staircase. The new teaser still doesn't reveal the upcoming season's actual theme, but it definitely maintains the high level of anticipation.

Look out for season six of AHS when it premieres Sept. 14 on FX. Keep the creepy vibes going by checking out our roundup of Wes Craven's scariest scenes ever, and watch Rider Strong reveal his favorite horror movies below:
