Rockin’1000 put together a concert, “That’s Live,” of 1,000 musicians to perform in Cesena, Italy.

The organizers put together a similar event last year where another 1,000 musicians performed “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters. This year, the assembled performers played a number of classics including Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” and many more. The setlist included a commemorative rendition of David Bowie’s 1974 single “Rebel Rebel.”

The general manager of the operation, Fabio Zaffagnini, spoke after the Bowie cover. Of the 1,000 performers, he commented:

“They are just like themselves, but they perform like rockstars. With no one standing out. Showing us that with passion, dedication, and fucking hard work, we can transform our lives. So stick together! No more conflict! And play rock ’n’ roll!”
