A large part as to why Fuller House was such a hit on Netflix was how it brought back nearly every character from the beloved family sitcom. From staples like Tanner sisters DJ and Stephanie to characters that were introduced later in the series like Steve Hale and Becky Donaldson, everyone was on board with the reboot...except Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played youngest Tanner daughter Michelle. And it doesn't look like we'll be seeing the stars reprise their role anytime soon.

"We've tried everything," Jodie Sweetin—a.k.a. the Olsen twins' big TV sister—told Entertainment Tonight at a recent Los Angeles event. "I think we've kind of given up."

Is this officially the end of "You got it, dude?"

Still, Sweetin promises a lot of exciting things for Season 2: "We have a lot. A lot of people that have been talked about for like 30 years are going to be on the show. It's going to be a lot of fun." That includes a Thanksgiving-themed episode the cast teased earlier this summer.

If we've put you in a '90s mood now, keep the nostalgia going with Rider Strong talking about why Boy Meets World remains so beloved today, a la Full House:
