Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Weren't Happy About 'The Hills' Special

Last night, The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now anniversary special aired, making for a nostalgic look back at the 2006-2010 MTV series that saw star Lauren Conrad revealing unseen footage and commenting on classic moments. But not everyone was loving the special, as Hills members Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt expressed their distaste for the program.

Heidi was brought in to liveblog the show for Broadly, where the starlet shared her mixed emotions. "Lauren is narrating all our lives again," Montag wrote on the liveblog, commenting on how Conrad was the only star invited for the program. "Surprise! It's all about Lauren. Blogs have advertised the show as a 'reunion,' but it's really an LC special."

She also said that "this special is a great Kohl's commercial," referring to Conrad's fashion line with the retailer.

Montag also showed some fondness towards Conrad and the show. "The end of our friendship was so sad," she wrote of the rift that broke her and Conrad's friendship apart on the series. "Lauren was my best friend. I would never try to hurt her. I loved her, and I always will." But Montag also shared her happiness for Lauren's marriage to William Tell: "Everyone deserves love like the relationship I have with Spencer."
