I know, I know. We're supposed to be talking about Suicide Squad and Jared Leto's portrayal of the Joker and whatnot. But, just for a moment, can we pay homage to one of the OG Jokers?

Mark Hamill's evil-as-hell voicing of the cartoon Joker will forever remain iconic. And if you're DC co-publisher Jim Lee, you have the power to capture that legendary manaical giggle. Lee posted a video of the custom voicemail message that Hamill recorded just for him, and it's pretty epic:

Hamill squeals on the vmail message, and then gives listeners a multiple choice guess about why Lee can't come to the phone: his children, his obsession with deadlines or that the Joker has him dangling over a vat of acid. Typical Joker!

"Thank you to el maestro," Lee wrote, tipping his hat to Hamill.

Now, back to your modern-day Joker analysis...
