After various delays and a tug-o'-war with her record label, M.I.A. has now released the Diplo-produced version of "Bird Song." The track, which was originally supposed to drop last Friday, is thankfully worth the wait. It features classic weirdo sounds from Diplo (like a strangely intriguing kazoo) over a thumping dancehall-inspired beat, and M.I.A.'s signature thickly accented rap rumblings.

Diplo's version of "Bird Song," as well as Baltimore club master Blaqstarr's take will both appear on the rapper's album. M.I.A. revealed the A.I.M. tracklist, which also features "Borders," the Skrillex-produced "Go Off," her "Freedun" collaboration with Zayn Malik and politically charged titles like "Visa" and "Fly Pirate."

Look out for A.I.M. on Sept. 9. Hopefully by that time M.I.A. can secure her U.S. visa in order to actually promote the record. In the meantime, watch Fuse's throwback chat with M.I.A. below:
