After giving fans a teaser last weekTove Lo has officially dropped her new single "Cool Girl." The track is the first taste from the Swedish artist's pending sophomore album. Her friend Lorde called it the "pop song of the summer" on Twitter recently, and I have to agree that it's a strong contender.

"Cool Girl" finds Tove Lo doing what she does best: mellow electronic-fused pop that's anchored with an undeniably infectious hook. “I’m a cool girl, I’m a, I’m a cool girl / Ice cold, I roll my eyes at you, boy,” she muses over the song's wobbly production.

"Cool Girl" is the first solo single from Tove Lo following "Moments" from 2014's Queen of the Clouds, her debut LP. But she's kept busy since then, collaborating with Nick Jonas on "Close," Years & Years on "Desire" and Flume for "Say It."
