As if you needed another reason to love 5 Seconds of Summer, the guys are proving they're going above and beyond to help their fans.
Watch a heartwarming video above that the 5SOS guys recorded for Georgia Buckingham, a 16-year-old fan from New Zealand battling leukemia, whose illness was possibly preventing her from seeing her favorite band (along with a few other faves like Twenty One Pilots and Panic! At the Disco—great choices, by the way) when 5SOS last played Sydney. Friends and fellow fans set up a hashtag "#5SOSNoticeGeorgia" which helped get the band in touch with her via a Skype session and send her the above video, all of which undoubtedly lifted her spirits.
In an exciting update, Georgia is now visiting Sydney this week, and a crowdfunded donation page set up by her older sister shares that she has "a few surprises for Georgia."
Shout-out to the 5SOS guys for showing so much love. And good luck to you, Georgia. We're all rooting for you. You can help in Georgia's ongoing leukemia fight by donating here.
