Frank Ocean Eyeing 'Blonde' Physical Album Release

Frank Ocean has been doing the independent thing with his new Blonde album, but according to Billboard, the singer is now looking for a distribution deal to make the project available in both physical and digital forms. Before this, the only physical copies of Blonde were included as CDs in Ocean's Boys Don't Cry magazine.

Sources tell Billboard that the artist's camp is eyeing either a record label or distributor who "can take the album beyond its iTunes/Apple Music exclusive." The news comes after Frank stealthily left Def Jam/UMG and released Blonde independently. It was only on Apple Music at first, but was later made available on Pandora and Spotify, among other places.
