UPDATE (9/20): Wow! After more than quarter of a million votes, Wonder Girls have been crowned the winner of Fuse's K-Pop Summer Comeback Battle. The beloved girl group's reggae-pop comeback with "Why So Lonely" clearly was the sound fans wanted this summer and made for the biggest splash amid the heated battle.
It was a battle of the girl groups this summer as the new female act to watch, GFriend, wound up in the runners-up slot with their glittery summer single "Navillera." Meanwhile, Oh My Girl's "Listen to My Word (A-ing)" landed them in third while fellow newcomers Twice were close in fourth. The newest act on the group, the ladies of Blackpink, rounded out the Top 5.

The project girl group that was created from super-successful competition reality show Produce 101 released their second single "Whatta Man" that brought together seven of the 11 members. The release aimed to please fans around the world with its sample of the En Vogue and by Salt-n-Pepa song of the same name.
