Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” single, teased for weeks and previewing her next solo album, has arrived in full. Listen to the highly anticipated pop track, which was unveiled on Thursday night.

"Perfect Illusion" is a giant departure from Gaga's previous ARTPOP incarnation and focuses more on live instrumentation and raw emotion. The single possesses a less immediate hook than past hits like "Applause" or "Bad Romance," but its winding path toward a kinetic conclusion—led by Gaga's powerful pipes—is gripping upon a first listen.

Gaga’s latest radio offering was produced by the enviable team of Mark Ronson, Bloodpop and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. Sources tell Fuse that Ronson led the majority of the production of Gaga’s first solo full-length since 2013’s ARTPOP, likely out this fall.
