Netflix's Luke Cage premiere is just a few days away, and the Marvel series released its final trailer in the midst of the increasing anticipation. While the previous trailer focused on the Harlemite's backstory, this new one is all about just how badass the titular character truly is.
Mike Colter, who plays Cage, shows off the super strength and impenetrable skin that could take in any amount of bullets that fly his way. He also claims he's "not the hero type" despite helping cops fight crime throughout the city. Nas’ 2002 classic “Made You Look” plays in the background of the action-filled trailer.
Luke Cage, which follows the crime fighter's return to Harlem after last year's Jessica Jones, arrives on Netflix Sept. 30. The cast also includes House of Cards' Mahershala Ali as Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes, Alfre Woodard (Mariah Dillard), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Theo Rossi (Shades), Frank Whaley (Rafael Scarfe) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple).
