Today, kinda crazily close to its Nov. 23 release date, Disney's Moana has its first full-length trailer ready for us. The demigod-level oceanic animation is exactly what we expected, but we had no idea how much chemistry Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (Maui) and 15-year-old newcomer Auli'i Cravalho would have.

Summing up almost any major studio's animated family feature trailer at this point would be an exercise in intentional déjà vu, so we'll just encourage you to watch it. A quick note, however, while we're considering the overall scene: Does every kids' movie need to have that cliché "Really?" moment still? If so, does it have to make it into every trailer? Really?

Moana will feature music by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and direction from Ron Clements and John Musker, who most recently brought us The Princess and the Frog in 2009. Before that? Hercules, Aladdin, and The Little freakin' Mermaid.

The Dwayne Johnson executive-produced Clash of the Corps premieres on Fuse on October 5 at 11/10c. Check out our page for more info and watch a first look below:
