We all know that Rihanna can do it all, and now, the pop superstar is working to ensure that every student across the globe has the opportunity to do the same. On Friday, Rihanna was announced as an ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) as well as Global Citizen.

According to a press release, Rihanna joins a campaign that will advocate for 250 million children across 60 developing countries to receive a quality education, prioritizing “the poorest and most vulnerable” areas for financial relief. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation will encourage world leaders to put greater emphasis on global education.

“I feel strongly that all children everywhere should be afforded the opportunity of a quality education,” Rihanna said in a press statement. “Therefore I’m proud to announce Clara Lionel Foundation’s partnership with education advocacy leaders like the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen. Working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally."

The announcement comes one day before Rihanna perform at the Global Citizen Festival in New York. Before that sure-to-be epic performance, watch a throwback clip with Rih below:
