Over the past decade, U.K. quartet Young Guns have morphed into one of the country’s most dynamic alt-rock outfits. This Friday they’ll officially release their new album Echoes, but Fuse is pleased to exclusively premiere the album in full a few days early. Stream Young Guns’ latest below:

Young Guns (singer Gustav Wood, guitarists Fraser and John Taylor and bassist Simon Mitchell) have been peddling their canyon-sized anthems since 2003, and for Echoes, they returned to the studio and paired up with producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Killswitch Engage, All Time Low) in early 2016. The result is a decidedly heavier record that includes the single "Mad World," which has garnered over 100,000 YouTube views in two weeks, as well as lyrical nods to the departure of longtime drummer Ben Jolliffe.

"I think the whole album is a reflection on a specific time period in my life,” says Wood. “The past year has been a time of great change and the end of a lot of things - the finishing of a 6-year relationship, the departure of an original band member, and lots more.

“The whole album is a conversation about the past, the present, and the future,” he continues. “From being stuck in the past and not being able to let go to finding the best way to move on, and all of the aspect of those ideas, each song feels like it has a common connected theme running through it."

Good news for American fans: Young Guns are embarking on their first U.S. headlining tour this fall. The trek kicks off this Thursday in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and the band will perform at New York’s Gramercy Theatre on the official album release day.
