Adele was the latest celebrity to proclaim #ImWithHer, when she endorses Hillary Clinton during her Miami concert. She spoke to the audience about the upcoming election and blatantly stated “Don’t vote for him" in reference to Donald Trump, prompting the crowd to erupt in cheers.
The 25 singer then showed her support for the Democratic presidential candidate, saying “I am English, but what happens in America affects me too. I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her, she’s amazing.” Clinton was actually at the concert celebrating her 69th birthday, but Adele reportedly wasn't aware.
Unclear if Adele knows HRC is in the audience tonight. If so, she hasn't mentioned it and HRC has no plans to go on stage, per an aide.— Monica Alba (@albamonica) October 26, 2016
Adele's support comes after fellow artists Miley Cyrus (who recently went door-to-door dorm room campaigning), Lady Gaga and Katy Perry endorsed Clinton. Jay Z is even organizing a concert for the candidate ahead of the Nov. 8 election.
