Azealia Banks is now explaining her take on what happened at Russell Crowe's Beverly Hills Hotel party, where she claims the actor assaulted her, using racist language in the process. Speaking to TMZ, the rapper states that she was in a room filled with "bruising male egos" where she wasn't allowed to make jokes like the guys.

Banks also alleges Crowe choked and spit on her, and that RZA didn't stand up for her. "RZA doesn't have that much clout in a room full of real high power, Hollywood white men. [He] stood there like a chump."

As for that record deal she landed with the Wu-Tang Clan leader? "I'm not signing shit with RZA. Absolutely not."

"If these guys can chump you out like that, that's not somebody I need to attach myself to. I'm strong enough on my own. I can't be represented by some chump," she continued. Banks also asked her fans to support her hashtag #makeazealiagreatagain following the incident.

She wrote in a private Instagram post (via Billboard):

"These past few days have been rough. I want to thank the kuntbrigade so much for being there for me. Although this situation was beyond my control, I promise you all that This is the LAST time I will be in the news for anything negative. For all of the love and support my fans have given me over the years I owe it to you to keep it straight music. No politics, no race stuff, no feminist stuff, no nothing."

It ends with the promise of a new freestyle, "So Ghetto," coming shortly.
