Congratulations to Drake, who just broke a 32-year American Music Awards record. The artist scored a total of 13 nominations, beating Michael Jackson who previously held the title of 11 nods in 1984. The list was revealed this morning by Rachel Platten and Joe Jonas.

Drake is up for categories including Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Album, Favorite Rap Artist, Collaboration of the Year for "One Dance" and Favorite Rap song for "Hotline Bling." Billboard points out that he if wins anything, it will mark his first AMA award.

His friend Rihanna isn't too far behind, as the Bad Gal received seven nominations including Artist of the Year and Video of the Year for "Work." The 2016 American Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET.
