Frank Ocean and Chance the Rapper were among the many guests at President Barack Obama's final White House State Dinner. For the special night, the two guys decided to bring some equally special guests: their parents.
The Blonde star had his mother Katonya Breaux, a longtime staple in Chicago politics, on his arm. The singer stayed true to his off-kilter style by rocking classic checkered Vans. Chance showed off his dad Ken Bennett, who worked with Obama back when the president was an Illinois Senator, on social media.
He tweeted a photo of the dapper pair with the caption: "Thanks Dad for raising me right. Look at us all fancy for the White House. I ain't even wearing a hat tonight #BlackBoyJoy":
President Obama is a fan of both artists, and he recently included Chance the Rapper's "Acid Rain" on his nighttime summer playlist. Other guests at the State Dinner included big names like Vice President Joe Biden, Giorgio Armani, Jerry Seinfeld, James Taylor, Mario Batali, actor Roberto Benigni, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
Gwen Stefani was also in attendance, and performed alongside boyfriend Blake Shelton:
