Remember last week when I asked the question, "WTF Is Up with These Gilmore Girls Posters?" Here I am on a Tuesday, asking that same question.
New Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life posters have been released and they are just as weirdly Photoshopped and contorted as the last batch. Whereas we saw Lorelei and Rory sharing blank stares previously, now, we get Luke and Emily with similar death glances.
First off (above), there's Lorelei and Rory mugging coyly in yet another glamour shot. Not nearly as bad as the "seasons" posters of yesterweek.
Next, there's Luke. He's looking at you disdainfully as he would look at Taylor or Kirk or perhaps Gypsy when she's charging him too much to fix his truck. He looks semi-normal, despite the intense white lighting.
But DEAR GOD, what in the world is this? Sassy AF Emily Gilmore is staring. you. down. in this poster, as if you were a D.A.R. member who put her at the wrong table. Here she is, glaring coldly and cradling a chalice filled with the blood of her enemies. Run. Far.
If Emily looked this stern and 'shopped all the time, I wouldn't want to go to Friday night dinners either.
P.S. No shade to Kelly Bishop. She rules.
For fun, here are the posters from before:
