'Iron Fist' Update: Netflix Sets Premiere Date for Fourth Marvel Series

Now that all the die-hards have long since finished binging Luke Cage, which dropped its 13-episode first season uh...four days ago, it's on to the next one. Iron Fist, Netflix's fourth of four standalone hero series announced back in November 2013, will drop Season 1 on March 17. It follows Cage, Jessica Jones and two seasons of Daredevil.

Game of Thrones' own Loras Tyrell—IRL name Finn Jones, English, 28—will play Iron Fist. Fellow GoT alum Jessica Henwick (Nymeria Sand, of Dorne) and Lewis Tan (10,000 Days) will co-star. Once we've been introduced to Mr. Fist, Netflix and Marvel can finally drop The Defenders, later in 2017. The Defenders will be like The Avengers, except comprised of the Netflix heroes.
