DC's Justice League movie is still more than a year away, meaning we've still got more than a year of weekly scoops and reveals and teasers and viral mashups. Today, we direct our avid gaze toward Mera, Queen of Atlantis (and Aquaman's better half), played by Machete Kills/Zombieland actress Amber Heard.

"Mera is expected to play a supporting role in Justice League and have a much more prominent role in the upcoming Aquaman movie to be directed by James Wan," writes IGN, which premiered the image along with some concept art.
