Miley Cyrus has always been an open book when it comes to mental health and self-care, and the singer channeled that heartfelt energy with a beautiful duet with dad Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley shared the performance on Instagram, where the pair perform Billy's "How've Ya Been."
Calling it a "magic jam sesh," Miley delicately plays the piano while her father strums on an acoustic guitar. The emotions are almost tangible as they sing the tune, which is a tribute to Billy Ray's late friend who committed suicide years back.
"Suicide awareness month has come to an end but never should the fight for love and acceptance for all!" Miley caption the video. "This is the 2nd song my dad ever wrote years ago after his best friend took his own life because of discrimination in his community.....Love love love....." She also shared this adorable photo of a mini-Miley jamming with her dad on stage:
