UPDATE: Pharrell also shared Hidden Figures soundtrack tune, “Surrender” featuring gospel/soul singer Lalah Hathaway. Stream both tracks below.

Original Story: Pharrell is the undisputed king of soundtracks at this point (we're still jamming to Despicable Me 2's "Happy"), and the musician is gracing our ears with yet another great tune. Simply called "Runnin'," the song is found on the soundtrack for upcoming movie Hidden Figures.

The smooth cut finds Pharrell continue to explore a more vintage, jazz/swing sound, where he rap-sings over a piano-based melody. The vibrant trumpet solo towards the end of "Runnin'" makes it all the more authentic.

Hidden Figures, a movie based on the real-life story of three brilliant black women who made scientific history working at NASA, hits theaters on Jan. 13. It stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle MonáeClick here to watch the trailer.
