The popular video game Red Dead Redemption made a welcomed return today by dropping the trailer for its prequel to the 2010 original, Red Dead Redemption 2. The minute-long clip features a beautiful display of the Western United States, highlighting the hills and valleys, forests, mountains and a general store.

"Listen to me. When the time comes, you gotta run and don't look back. This is over," a mysterious cowboy says in the trailer. There's no word yet if former outlaw John Marston, who became a hired gunman for the government after his wife and son were taken hostage, will make an appearance in the prequel. But the haunting silhouette does hint at his return.

Rockstar Games shared the game's synopsis:

"Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Fall 2017. The big news follows the unveiling of another anticipated video game release, the Nintendo Switch. Below, watch rapper Chris Webby dive into his love for nostalgic video games at New York Comic Con 2016:
