We all grew up watching the melancholic A Charlie Brown Christmas on TV, but now the classic special has received a Stranger Things update. Created by Leigh Lahav and Oren Mendez, the animated short combines the nostalgia of Peanuts with everything we love from the popular Netflix series.

After being rescued from the Upside Down, Will Byers channels his inner Charlie Brown, who can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit. Instead, he is depressed and keeps running into the Demogorgon (which is perched atop his dog house like Snoopy).

Dustin plays Linus, while Eleven takes over Lucy's psychiatry booth and Will's mother, Joyce, can only respond with the classic "wah wah wah" jargon. Be sure to watch the clip until the end for a surprise appearance from a beloved character!

Look out for the return of Stranger Things on Netflix in 2017. Keep the nostalgia going by listening to the latest episode of Fuse's Besterday podcast:
