Much like Robert Kirkman's comic book of the same name, AMC's The Walking Dead TV show looks like it'll actually never end. News has arrived, a week before TWD's Season 7 premiere, that the zombie apocalypse epic will be back in fall 2017. It remains the No. 1 TV series in the all-important 18-49 demographic.

If The Walking Dead keeps running at its usual reliable pace, expect Season 8 next October, the month it's premiered every year since its 2010 debut. Since Season 3, TWD has run 16 episode seasons with a two-month break in the middle.

The Walking Dead Season 7 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 23. The episode, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," is the series' 84th. The comic, if you were curious, is on its 14th year and 159th issue.
