Brace yourselves, Cars fans, because the wait for the third film is finally over! Disney and Pixar released the first teaser trailer for the latest installment in the popular animated series. This time around, the focus is all on Lightning McQueen.

The clip stops at under a minute, giving you a rush of anticipation as you watch the veteran racer return to the zipping racetrack. The drama heightens as the car takes a serious tumble with the teaser revealing, "From this moment, everything will change." For a film that's meant to be for kids, it's less vibrant than the previous installments and unexpectedly haunting.

Owen Wilson will return to voice Lightning McQueen, alongside Larry the Cable Guy playing Mater, Bonnie Hunt as Sally Carrera, and Cheech Marin as Ramone. Cars 3, the follow-up to 2011's Cars 2, is directed by Brian Fee and will arrive on June 16, 2017.
