Try Childish Gambino’s Virtual Reality App & Pre-Order VR ’Awaken, My Love!’ Vinyl

Donald Glover has some crazy stuff in store for his new Childish Gambino album Awaken, My Love! (Title comes with an exclamation point, but we are excited.) As in, today a pre-order is available for a “virtual reality limited edition vinyl.”

For $59.99 (although that’s “subject to change as package content is finalized”)—and not until a TBD date in 2017—you’ll get two pieces of 45RPM heavyweight 12” vinyl that…do a virtual reality thing we don’t know about yet. Sorry. 

If you order before Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m., you get a 17” by 11” poster. Pre-orders also get you instant digital downloads of the stunning curveball tracks “Redbone” and “Me and Your Mama,” and a digital download of the album on its release date, this Friday, Dec. 2.
