Johnny Depp will have a part in J.K. Rowling's wizarding world when he takes a role Warners Bros. upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel.

Deadline reported on Tuesday that the kooky actor will show up alongside lead actor Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt Scamander. Many are speculating that Depp will portray Grindelwald.

Also yesterday, we learned that the Fantastic Beasts sequel will be taking place in Paris.

After the news of Depp's casting hit, there was an uproar on Twitter, with many people referencing Depp's domestic abuse case against Amber Heard as a reason not to cast him. (Heard donated her $7 million divorce settlement from the case to charity.)
