Miley Cyrus has performed Dolly Parton's "Jolene" many times in the past, both solo and alongside her famous godmother. But the pair put a fresh spin on the signature song with the help of Pentatonix on last night's The Voice. The a cappella group added their pop flair with beatboxing and harmonies, while Cyrus (who is also a judge on the show) and Parton showed off their country twang.
The lively performance arrived in the wake of the aggressive Tennessee wildfires in resort towns Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. More than 14,000 people have been evacuated from the town, three people have been killed and Parton's theme park Dollywood is still under threat.
The park issued a statement last night on Twitter, stating they've assessed the damages from the wildfires and plan to re-open Dollywood on Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. with limited lodging:
