After Miley Cyrus shared a raw and emotional video where she tried to accept Donald Trump as the president-elect, the singer is now wiping her tears away to announce her #HopefulHippies campaign in response to the "shocking election results."

She revealed the news about the venture on Instagram today, which encourages people to take action in changing the voice of their community. The pop star, who is now "accepting, hopeful, inspired and smiling," wrote: 

"I’m asking you to get involved in your own community and make a commitment to the issues you care about, whether it’s donating, volunteering or showing your support! I’m starting off by pledging to education, and I’m excited Happy Hippie will now be supporting classroom projects and schools with DonorsChoose!!"

"Myself and Happy Hippie are putting education for young people at the very top of our list of priorities in honor, of course, Hillary Clinton," Cyrus explained in the video. "I am so excited to see what we can do together because we have made such an impact on the LGBTQ community fighting homelessness and injustice for everyone. I love you all so much."

She also launched the campaign's official website, so click here for more information. The move follows Lady Gaga's push for fans to sign the Change.org petition "Electoral College: Make Hillary Clinton President on December 19. As of now, it has almost 850,000 signatures.
