Nintendo Attractions Coming to Universal Theme Parks: Watch a Teaser

Get ready to hang out with Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach in real life soon, because Nintendo announced it has collaborated with Universal Parks and Resorts for video game–themed attractions in Osaka, Orlando and Hollywood. "Since we're really bringing the world to life, I think Mario will feel like he finally came home!" creator Shigeru Miyamoto says in the teaser above, also featuring Universal’s Mark Woodbury.

While the details are scarce for now, the Nintendo experiences will be "expansive, immersive and interactive" with various rides and attractions, restaurants and shops. As seen in the clip, the timeless Super Mario Bros. video game will be a main component. The companies state, “Mario and all his friends are there to pull you into a brand-new world.”
