The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story teasers keep coming, and so do the scoops. Or the allusion to scoops.
Today's new (pseudo?) reveal is that the franchise's first standalone movie—set between the prequels and the OG trilogy—will prrrobably feature Grand Moff Tarkin, the Death Star Commander. Because if Darth Vader's back, why not resurrect a crony or two? In the teaser above, we get a behind-view of Tarkin's distinct likeness at the five-second mark, as he gazes upon the evil glory of the Galactic Empire's greatest weapon.
Back in August 2015, rumors surfaced that Grand Moff Tarkin was being digitally recreated for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The character—played by Peter Cushing, who died in 1994—perished at the end of 1977's Episode IV: A New Hope and made a teensy cameo, played by Wayne Pygram, in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
