Shakira and Carlos Vives' "La Bicicleta" is taking off all over the world, hitting No. 1 in multiple countries and earning the songwriters two Latin Grammy nominations—one for Record of the Year and another for Song of the Year.  And, as it turns out, the song is taking over the subway too.

A man in Madrid started singing the song on a train car, and as soon as a group of women started belting along, other commuters joined in. The man filming the video ended up propping up his phone so he could get in on the party.

Shakira herself shared the video on Facebook, writing, "Moments like these are what make music make sense!"

Shakira will not be at the Latin Grammys to honor "La Bicicleta" on Nov. 17. On Monday, she pulled out of the event, along with the American Music Awards on Nov. 20, due to "personal matters."
