The Weeknd's 'Mania' Movie: Watch the Bloody Neo-Noir Adventure

After The Weeknd dropped a few thrilling teasers for his Mania visual piece, the singer has now released the anticipated film. Running for 12 minutes, it opens with the mesmerizing panther and journeys through The Weeknd's dismal night at an underground club. We see him show off some Michael Jackson-inspired moves and successfully pick up a beautiful woman (played by model Anais Mali).

The film continues the sophisticated but somber aesthetic that's been seen throughout the Starboy era, and previews various songs from the album including "Sidewalks" with Kendrick Lamar and "All I Know" with Future. It also features the haunting "Party Monster" (which is introduced with a bloody bathroom scene) and the other Daft Punk-assisted track, "I Feel It Coming." The neo-noir flick is directed by Grant Singer, who also helmed the "Starboy" video.
