For all the fans that were torn when Cartoon Network cancelled Young Justice three years ago, you can now dry your eyes because it is officially coming back! Warner Bros. Animation announced the news that the cult series is now in production of season three, Deadline reports.
Young Justice aired for two seasons on Cartoon Network from 2010-2013. When it was unexpectedly cancelled, it left DC fans in a fit as they tried crowdfunding to bring it back. The show featured teen superheroes of the DCU including Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Aqualad, Speedy and Red Arrow/Arsenal. As soon as the news broke, social media went wild.
