Early Friday morning, Fifth Harmony announced that Camila Cabello had "quit" the group. The statement, released on their social media accounts, was somewhat of a surprise, but not unexpected. The members of the girl group, formed on X Factor in 2012, have been working on solo projects, like Normani Kordei's Drake remix and Lauren Jauregui's song with Marian Hill

Nevertheless, fans had to deal with the news first thing in the morning, and here's how it went down. Click through for their reactions:

Most people totally saw it coming

Many saw the writing on the wall when Camila Cabello started going solo with songs like "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with MGK. They just didn't know WHEN she would leave.

Not a lot of surprise

And they started the new hashtag, #H4RMONY. Fifth Harmony was named for having five members, so it might be cool to rebrand now, right?

Of course, there are One Direction comparisons

When you see a member of a band leaving, it's easy to pull from the past to predict what will happen. However, the situations aren't the same.

But it is funny to think about

After all, history repeats itself.

There are Little Mix comparisons, too

Both Little Mix and Fifth Harmony have been compared to each other their entire careers, so why would it differ now? For those who chose one girl group or the other, Little Mix fans are feeling pretty grateful right now.

The shade has been thrown

Camila fans have always been tough, and they're throwing barbs on Twitter, foreshadowing a rough go for the rest of Fifth Harmony.

Others can't wait for Camila to speak up

Fans are feeling entitled to an explanation, outside of the statement given by the band early Monday morning.

Harmonizers have faith for a third album

Cabello's involvement in Fifth Harmony's possible third album was always in question, but fans have faith that the album will be even better.

Most of all, fans just want them to be happy

And that's all that matters.
