Last night Stephen Colbert highlighted the fact that Paul McCartney and Wings' "Wonderful Christmastime" is perpetually cited as the worst Christmas song ever. He used the moment to defend his "close personal friend Paul McCartney, whom I have met twice" by writing the new worst Christmas song of all time.

Watch Colbert, Norah Jones and bandleader Jon Batiste treat the Late Show audience to the merry debut of "Christmas Is Now," which is more repetitive than Donald Trump tweeting about SNL.

"Christmas is now, Christmas is now / Christmas is Christmas, and now it is now," are some/most of the sample lyrics. At the 3:35 mark, Colbert and, Jones and Batiste are joined by a 10-person choir, driving the awfulness home.
