Childish Gambino's third studio album, "Awaken, My Love!" (with the quotes, ppl), is now available to stream and own. It comes on the heels of Donald Glover's FX series Atlanta, hailed far and wide as one of 2016's greatest pieces of televised art. Listen on Apple Music:

The 11-track, 49-minute-long record features production by (among others to be revealed soon, we're sure) Vinylz and longtime Gambino beatsmith/Community and New Girl composer Ludwig Göransson. The lead-up started last month with "Me and Your Mama" and "Redbone," both fascinating curveballs from Glover's rap (and often R&B and pop) past.

Childish Gambino's last full-length was December 2013's Because the Internet. In October 2014 he dropped the combo mixtape/EP STN MTN / Kauai. In addition to Atlanta and his Joshua Tree festival/album experience PHAROS, Glover also joined Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming and the Star Wars Han Solo origin movie—as freaking Lando Calrissian. He became a dad, too, which is referenced in more than just the "Awaken, My Love!" song titles for sure.
