The wait is over folks! After continuous teasers, the first official trailer for Transformers 5, a.k.a. The Last Knight, has now arrived. The next movie in the blockbuster franchise comes courtesy of Paramount and teases ominous danger. It is elevated by Anthony Hopkins' voiceover ("Two species at war—one flesh, one metal") and a chilling cover of The Flaming Lips'' “Do You Realize?”

We are then hit with the first sign of a disarmingly villainous Optimus Prime battling Bumblebee before Cade (played by Mark Wahlberg) tries to step in. "Forgive me," the robot says before he swiftly attacks his once friends.

Transformers: The Last Knight also stars Stanley Tucci, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro. Michael Bay, who returns as director, previously revealed this will be his last film in the franchise. "I still have a great time. It's fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see," he told Rolling Stone in January. "But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else."

Look out for the movie in theaters on June 23, 2017. But before then, check out the Fuse crew's journey through this year's New York Comic Con below:
