Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice isn't one of Zack Snyder's most critically acclaimed films, but it just got a thrilling overhaul from a galaxy far, far away. The film's director shared a mash-up trailer with BvS and Star Wars: The Force Awakens in anticipation of next week's Rogue One release.
“In anticipation of Rogue One, I wanted to share a little Star Wars fan film I made after JJ released his Hunka Junk mash-up…long overdue,” the director wrote in reference to this 2014 Batmobile/Millennium Falcom clip. The intense trailer shows Batman (Ben Affleck) joining the dark side while Superman (Henry Cavill) is branded as a "false Jedi." Yoda shares his words of wisdom and there are also shots of the Death Star. But the coolest part of the mash-up is seeing our favorite superheroes playing around with lightsabers.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, starring Felicity Jones and Diego Luna, will hit theaters on Dec. 16. As for Snyder? He's busy helming the latest films in the DCEU: Wonder Woman, Justice League, The Flash and Aquaman.
